Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Such a lovely man. I have great memories of him and his wife. It was always great fun and such a pleasure to see them when they would come visit Denise in Dallas. Prays and love to family. My sincere condolences. Love, MB

  2. I had known Alfred since I was sixteen years old and am now seventy four years old. I lived next to the shop in Osborne and spent a lot of time chatting with Alfred or watching him work on a vehicle of mine. Alfred was a great person and friend.

  3. There aren’t enough words to say all Alfred meant to me – my dad, mom, uncle ALL thought the world of Alfred.
A nicer human I’ve NEVER met
He was the epitome of what a true gentleman is to me – kind – strong – huge heart
Never a bad word to say about anything or anyone – always the glass has plenty of water in it to share
He had a bit of a mouth on him though
He could rip off a fury of swear words
Such as – mmm Lordy – oh wow
And some times with a finger over his mouth
    Golly
I met him thru his son Dennis 35 years ago
He and I became great friends, I valued his opinion and friendship on all matters as I knew he wasn’t braggadocios and would never fail me with quality advice
Many times I drove my car to him from Kansas City or Tulsa to have him work on it just to hang out with him
When he and his wife Deanna first moved to Wichita – I took him to Rusty Eck and introduced him to my brother David who introduced him to to the hiring Mgr and we turned him into a ford guy lol
If we touch one soul in our life – we’ve done a good job
I’m willing to bet Alfred touched everyone that knew him very long
With what dignity and Grace looked like
Surely Heaven has a special new Angel
    I could go on forever
I’ll miss my friend the rest of days
Yet I rejoice in the fact he’s reunited with our loved ones on the other side
    If there’s coffee in heaven
I’m sure he and my dad have drank a few pots
    Gawd speed to his family
