Allen, Robert D., 83, retired residential and commercial general contractor, died Sunday, November 9, 2008. Private family services will be held. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: wife, Sally (Neff) Allen; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Therese Allen of Augusta, KS, Steven M. and Rebecca Allen of Denver, CO and Robert D., Jr. and Monica Allen, of Wichita; brother-in-law, Bob and Patty Neff of Wichita; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
Private family services will be held. He was preceded in death by his parents.
