Sargent, Allen C., 73, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Beloved husband, dad, grandfather friend. Retired Wichita Fire Department Captain for 22 plus years and Boeing Aircraft for 18 years. Allen was also an avid pilot and airplane enthusiast. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Sunday, October 23, 2011, Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Monday October 24, 2011, both to be held at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church. Graveside service, 1:30 P.M, Andover cemetery. Preceded in death by parents; Frank Alma Sargent, two wives; Katherine Linda. Survived by wife; Georgianne, children; Michael (Liesel) Sargent, Michelle Sargent, Greg (Laura) Fisher, Michelle (Dale) Weber, Gina (Wayne) Hook, Diana (Walter) Burress, Bart (Brenda) Fisher, Jill (Jaime) Karalis, 16 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren.   2. Allen was a great friend and he will be dearly missed. I enjoyed the times we spent together while working at Boeing on the Tanker program and helping him setup a garage sale in Andover. He nick-named me ‘cokeman’ since I collect coca-cola and always called me by that instead of my name. I wish the family the best in dealing with there loss.
