Al was my 8th grade basketball coach, and we learned a lot while having fun and winning. The Hammar family was very welcoming to me while I was in elementary school and high school, and they were also welcoming to Sara during her childhood, as she grew up just two houses away from the Hammars on Handley Street. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
