So sorry of the passing of Angie. I met Angie through my daughter Cortney. They were co-workers a few years back at dr Roberts office. And come to find out we were neighbors. I remember Angie as being full of life and always a huge smile on her face. Praying for the family 🙏. Kraig and Stephanie seglem

From 1982 to 1986 my family lived next door to the Roberts family in Marceline. Those years contain many of the happiest memories of my childhood. Angela and I were nearly inseparable, we stayed up late after homework was done, creating twirling routines under the streetlamp on the corner. After the football games on FRiday nights, we’d watch Friday Night Videos together, attempting to memorize Madonna’s dance moves, to incorporate them into our twirling routines. We had a “Lucky Star” party in our backyards on the last day of summer in ’85. We spent days and days cutting out a hundred stars from construction paper and covering them with glue and glitter, with help from our younger siblings and our friends JoDee and Sarah. Then Angela’s dad helped us hang each and every star with his fishing twine from all of the trees. Angela’s creative spirit inspired me and encouraged me to explore my own creativity. We walked together to early morning marching band practice before school, to dance class after school, and sometimes all the way out to the swimming pool in the summertime. To quote our favorite song from those days, Angela was genuinely, in so many ways, “my lucky star…I just turn around and your by my side.” With love and strength and light to all who loved her.
