Feaster, Ann L., 81, born May 13, 1928 to Fred Rhodes and Mamie Barr Rhodes Harrison, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009, in Wichita. Service, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, Downing Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple in Wichita. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Oxford Cemetery, Oxford KS. Preceded in death by father, Fred Rhodes, mother, Mamie Harrison, stepfather, Samuel “Dude” Harrison, sisters, Patsy Rhodes and Ruby Jewel Winkler, and brother, Freddie Rhodes. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends, survivors include: husband, Max Feaster of Wichita; children, Vickie and John Faust of Arkadelphia AR, Terry Feaster and Pam Masters of Wichita, Debra Shepard of Clearwater; grandchildren, Nicholas Shepard, Mandy and Ady Beougher all of Phoenix, AZ, and Clifford Shepard of Shreveport, LA. Memorial established with the Alzheimers Association, 347 Laura, Wichita, KS 67211.

Vickie, Beverly called the office Monday and I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I know the past several years have been very hard for you dealing with the illness of a parent in another state. I just wanted you to know that my thoughts are with you. I know you and I’m sure everything is under control here; however,if there is anything you need done either at work or at home (pick up papers, feed the cats), please let me know.
