Ann, affectionally known to our family as “Ears”, was one of the finest person I’ve ever known. Although we had lost touch in recent years she will always a part of my memories. Rest in Peace Ann.
So many lovely memories of Ann. My mother, Nancy Burks, taught with Ann. I always thought of Ann as the hip, cool teacher. She was somewhere in age between me and my mom so she seemed ultra-cool to me. I remember mom talking about Ann working at a local steakhouse in the evenings and getting my Mom hooked on their Tumbleweed drinks; I was scandalized! And being a good sport to come to my wedding and get elbows in the ribs from her peers as she was not yet married. Ann, please give Mom a hug for us as she passed a little more than a year ago. I have so many memories of Ann. She has been around most of my life. She has been there in times of celebration and in times of grief. Your bright and bubbly spirit will stay with me forever. You have always been my adopted aunt.
Ann was a friend that I worked with at Amarillo Steak house. She was a great friend and a wonderful person, so full of life. My prayers go out to the family. God bless.
I just found out today from Coleen Carlson that my good friend Anne passed away 😪. I loved that woman……. We had so many good times together! May she be at peace and sing with the Angels above. 🙏
