Anna Mae Norris

Anna Mae Norris, 95, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2017 at home with her family, after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Martha, OK on March 25, 1921. She was a wonderful, loving, Christian woman with undying faith in God and total dedication to her family. She loved to cook, sew, bowl, garden, the Jayhawks (March Madness), and K.C. Royals, but mainly be with her family. Her strength and gratitude throughout her entire life was amazing, she never gave up on anything. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Norris; sons, Gary and Gail Norris. Anna was 1 of 9 siblings, all deceased. Anna is survived by her son, George Norris, Jr. of Wichita; daughter, Gloria Housholder of Andover; daughter-in-law, Janet Norris; grandchildren, Grant (Alissa) Norris, Jake (Ashley) Norris, John (Hilary) Norris, Brandon (Kristina) Norris, Niki (Dustin) Luallen, Brett (Michelle) Buck, Bryan (Allison) Buck, all of Wichita; along with 14 great-grandchildren. With love and respect from the family to Anna Maes caregiver, Janette Turck.
