  1. Tony was a great husband, father, and man. It was an absolute honor to have coached baseball with him this past year and a half. My sincerest condolences go out to the Kruse family. May God provide comfort and guidance to Monica and the kids.

  2. I babysat Tony and his sisters Mary and Patty; our parents were friends; we were also neighbors. I remember a lot of silliness, laughter, and fun. I was babysitting the three of them the day their brother Michael was born. To Tony’s family: You are all in my thoughts and prayers; may your memories help you through these difficult times.

  3. Monica, Nathan,Braden and Madelyn I wish you strength and courage for the road ahead you are always in my prayers. We will miss Tony so much. He shared laughs and tears with all of us. He made our family whole. May God be with you. Love your Aunt May

  4. I met Tony at Kansas State. After college, Tony was always a big part of keeping our circle of friends together. I am thankful for him being a part of our lives. In his words: “Having great friends is truly a blessing.” Tony, we will always be “pals.”

  5. Our deepest sympathy and many prayers for Monica and the children. May God hold you in his arms and the Blessed Mother wrap you in her cloak.

  6. I met Tony in the 3rd Grade. I loved growing up with him in Plainville. He was a fun guy to hang out with, great basketball and baseball player, receiver, little league coach, drummer, Christian man, and fantastic friend. See you in Heaven someday Tony.

  7. I will always remember the nights playing basketball in your parents driveway. But I will also never forget that everybody told me you were the only one in high school that had a better shooting form than me, that drove me crazy (even though I new it was true!!). And in the summer driving from county fair to county fair, loved it. Although I was a couple years younger than you it didn’t matter to you. I could go on for a long time, but until we meet again in Heaven. Monica and kids, I never met you, but you are in my prayers every day.

  8. I remember when Tony asked me for my daughter’s hand in marriage and I hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek Afterwards he told Monica to tell your dad not you kiss me anymore So I only hug him every time I saw him after that.

  9. So many memories growing up. Rivals (Plainville/Stockton, KSU/KU) and yet lifelong friends. Heartbreaking you’re gone. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with Monica, Nathan, Braden and Madelyn, Mary and Michael. May the memories you’ve left us with bring comfort at this very sad time.
