Arthur Bernritter of Goddard, KS, went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 14th, 2022. Art was born in Garden Plain, KS in 1924 and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Grace of 66 years, and 6 brothers and sisters. Art is survived by his sisters, Helen Friesen of Wichita and Dixie Johnson of Central Point, OR; his children, Michael Bernritter (Valerie), Cindy Cicora, and Karen Snow (Chris); seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 a.m, Friday, August 19, 2022 at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West Chapel. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, August 19, 2022, at Resthaven Cemetery.

Uncle Arthur, We’re all going to miss you, thank you and your family got to know my wonderful cousins since the late 90s onward with the joy of nature, RV travels and gift of a plush husky from cousin Mike, aunt grace and Uncle Arthur. You always have a joy to learn family extension, what’s new, whenever we’d get to visit, family and I to shoot the breeze and hangout together. Thanks for your service in the Army!
