Arthur Gene Miller

Miller, Arthur E. “Gene,” passed away on November 9, 2014. Gene was born and lived his life in Wichita, KS. A North High and WSU graduate. He was an entrepreneur managing his own businesses - Kellers Radiator Service, Pumpers Friend, and Friendly Oil Field Products. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Miller; parents, Arthur F. and Cady Miller; and sister, Peggy Cipolla. Gene is survived by his children, Kent (Deb) Miller of Towanda, Kirk (Terri) Miller of Wichita, Kim (Steve) Calhoun of Derby, and Sharon Kay Smith of Springfield, MO. He had 9 grandchildren, Eric, Kelley, Travis, Jeff, Jessica, Joey, Alex, Cady, and Tony. A casual memorial celebration of Genes life will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., at Riverside Park, Park Villa Pavilion, 1029 N. Bitting in Wichita. Dress casually. Hawaiian shirts welcome. A memorial has been established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing Lahey East Mortuary.
