Farel, Aubrey “Cowboy”, 82, retired from Boeing as a Teamsters Union truck driver, died Sunday, May 20, 2007. Service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 24, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by parents, John L. “Bug” and Grace M. Farel and great-grandson, Colby Self. Survivors: wife, Dorothy Loree Farel; daughter, Judy and Terry Pennington of Wichita, KS; sister, Dorcas and Donald Rackley of Gainesville, MO; grandchildren, Suanne and Dale Devlin, Mike and Kari Pennington and Scott and Terri Pennington; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Memorials have been established with VFW Post #112, 1560 S. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67211 and Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67202.
