Aurora Sauseda

Aurora Sauseda, 92, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed into her eternal resting place on Saturday, July 12, 2025. 

Viewing will be from 12:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2025; and from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2025; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 17, 2025, both at St. Anne Catholic Church. Graveside Service will follow at 4:00 pm, at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, KS.  

Preceded in death by her husband, Willie Joe Sauseda, Sr.; parents, Victor and Domitila Rodriguez; two brothers; one sister. 

Survived by her children, Gloria (Jerry) Graham of Hays, KS, Willie (Shonda) Sauseda, Jr. of Garden City, KS, Mary (David) Hamilton of Wellington, KS, John (Leah) Sauseda Sr. of Americus, KS, Joe (Tami) Sauseda, Sr. of Garden City, KS, Rosie Hernadez of Garden City, KS, Victoria (Mark) Pena of Ft. Morgan, CO, Lillian Sauseda of Wichita; granddaughter, Alisha Sauseda of Garden City, KS; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Pauline Peralez, Maria “Cruz” (Jeranimo) Perez; brother, Francisco “Frank” Rodriguez, all of Slaton, TX.
