  1. As long as I have lived in Wichita,I counted Barbara as one of my friends. She was so welcoming to me as a new bride. Over the years we kept in contact through various organizations but we really got to know each other in the ‘short Water’ at the Wichita Swim Club. She was the most fun gal in the group and I never ceased to admire her determination and her self reliance. She was truly a special woman and I will always remember her. I want to be like her when I grow up. Lynne Tinker

  2. I was sorry to hear about the death of your loved one, Barbara. I knew her briefly but in a very short time I came to love her smile and kind personality. I joined her P.E.O. in the year 2004 and it was shortly after that she moved to Colorado. I was sorry to see her go but knew she needed to be closer to family. She was a lovely woman.
