Barbara J. Courtney, 87, retired executive secretary, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Graveside Service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, at Kismet Cemetery, Kismet, KS. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Ward; husband, Walter, and daughter, Donna. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Memorial established with Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 N. Tyler Rd., Wichita, KS 67212.
