Rouse. Beatrice M., 89, retired Maude Carpenter Childrens Home bookkeeper and homemaker, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Visitation with the family will be 6:30 ~ 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 28 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29 at East Point Church of Christ. Beatrice was an active member of East Point. Survivors: husband of 63 years, Everett; children, Dan Rouse (Carol) of Ft. Gibson, OK, Phillip Rouse (Shelly) of Augusta, KS, Barbara Gibson (Steve) of Andover, KS and Betty Smith (Clarence “Jack”) of Wichita; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Nhowe Mission in Zimbabwe, c/o East Point Church of Christ, 747 N. 127th St. E., Wichita, KS, 67206.
