Conner, Bertha, 93, retired registered nurse of Wesley Hospital, died Sunday, August 27, 2006. Service 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 2, 2006, First Baptist Church, Lorraine, KS. Survivors: daughters, Rosemary Conner-Hardy, Elizabeth Conner-Hollis and David Hollis and Beverley Jane Conner-Lasater all of Wichita; grandchildren, Patrick Wells Conner, Christopher Lynn Conner, Kelly Conner Lasater and Mackenzie Ault Lasater; 2 great-granddaughters. A memorial has been established with Kansas Humane Society, 4218 S.E. Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67210. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

Beverly, Elizabeth and David, I am so sorry about your mom. In our situation, we always expect it at any time, but it is still hard to let your mother go. I had only known her for a year when she moved into Masonic, but she was such a very sweet lady. I have never seen any family as totally devoted to someone as the three of you were to her. I know in some ways, there will be a sense of relief, but also a huge void. Take care of yourselves now. With my deepest sympathy, Patsy Kutz
