Crow, Bertie Sullivan, 90, passed away Friday, November 05, 2010. Service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, University Congregational Church. Survivors include loving husband of 67 years, Ernest W. Crow; beloved children, Barbara (Ed) Biersmith of Monroe, LA, John (Claudia) Crow of Atlanta, GA, Marilyn (Dan) Waller of Andover, KS and Rick (Karen) Crow of Lenexa, KS; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Hollie, Cara, John Michael, Danny, Adrienne, Erin, Matt, Megan, Bethney, Jason and Lauren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bertie graduated from North High School, WU, and St. Marys School of Medical Technology. Memorials have been established with the Wichita Childrens Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, KS, 67208 and Larksfield Health Care Center, 7373 E. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I was saddened to read about Bertie’s death. I have fond memories of the bridal shower that she and Barbara hosted for me and of the jars of delicious pickled beets that we would eat in Corbin Hall. Our thoughts are with you.
