Goodson, Bethie Jane, 82, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away April 11, 2005. Service 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Downing Lahey East Chapel. Preceded in death by parents, Olav and Hazel Weese, husband, Virgil Goodson and brothers, Jim, Lemuel and Calvin Weese. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Nancy Goodson and Gary and Linda Goodson, all of Wichita; daughter, Connie Watkins of Anchorage, AK; sisters, Boots Tyler of Wichita, Vena Holland of Surprise, AZ, Betty Hemphill of Nampa, ID, Lorene Walters and Loretta Hadsell, both of Pratt, KS; brother, Gene Weese, Pine, AZ; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.

Mrs. Goodson always was unflappable, dignity and charm in the fashion of midwestern royalty. The mark of a parent is in the children–she was a lovely person.
Tom and family: I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I know she had been sick for awhile and her death was expected, but there are just no words to describe the loss one feels at the death of a parent.
