If you’re lucky, there are people in your life who make you a better person. People who, by the sheer force of their personality, make you want to be a better person. They are always positive, even in the most negative circumstances. They are always good, even when the devil himself comes calling. To people who count themselves among the many, many friends and extended family of Betty Jean Coine Clothier Clark Sawyer, she was such a person.
A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 8007 Maple Street, Wichita, Kansas 67209, at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024. In lieu of flowers, Betty’s family would appreciate memorial gifts to Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, 701 Amidon Street, Wichita, KS 67203 or to her beloved Westwood Presbyterian Church. Services in care of Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.
