Betty Jean Stradford went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 5th, 2024. Betty was born on April 3rd, 1932. She loved spending time with family and friends. Betty’s family includes her son, Rocky Stradford of El Dorado, Kansas and sister, Marilyn Whisenhunt of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ora, sisters, Emma, Peggy, and Francis, and brothers, Bob, Sam and Troy, and a grandson, Brett Logan. Memorials can be donated to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. There will be a short graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 West 47th Street South, Wichita, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Services in care of Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.

I would take Aunt Betty to China King once a month. She would go through the line and tell us what she wanted. We would set forever talking and eating. She loved this place.
