Susan and Greg,
I was sorry to hear that your mother passed away. I know this is a difficult time for your family. I remember meeting Mrs. Bokelman when you were teaching at McCollom. It seems like a long time ago, and it was. I hope you both and the rest of your family are doing well. God bless your family.
Mrs Tidemann,
My name is Jamie Francis. I was a student in Miss Firestones class when you were an intern at McCollom. This would have been in the 1970-71 school year. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I have always remembered you, Miss Firestone, and that particular year. You were very kind and understanding, and I remember you taking several of us to the Lazy R for lunch as a reward for something! I also remember when your husband-to-be would write “War Eagle” on our graded papers if we did well. You invited us to your wedding and I remember that event also. You and Miss Firestone had a major impact on me, and Ive never forgotten. I am in the middle of my 32nd year as an elementary teacher myself, and my fifth graders always hear stories from when I was their age! I hope that either you or Miss Firestone, or both of you, can find time to get in touch with me. I would be very honored to hear from both of you. Take care, and hope to hear from you if possible.
