Betty L Porter

Porter, Betty L., 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2009. Betty was born at home May 29, 1921 in Pitcher, OK to Ethel and Harry Worst. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Art Porter. Betty retired after 33 years with Beech Aircraft Corporation. Betty was an active member at Epworth United Methodist Church since 1964. She also enjoyed playing golf and cards with friends. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and T. K. Bouressa of Horseshoe Bay, TX and Diane and Bill Freund of Niceville, FL; granddaughter and husband, Carrie and Galen Davis, granddaughter, Mallory Freund; great-grandchildren, Gates, Dax and Flannery Davis; sister, June Pickering. An extra special thank you to step-grandchildren, Theresa and Lynn Strother for their loving care. Viewing 1:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
