Betty Lou (Hodges) Hayward

Betty Lou (Hodges) Hayward, 89, of Wichita, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, in the home of her daughter who lovingly cared for her during her last months while battling Alzheimers. Betty Lou, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved the Lord, was preceded in death by son, Keith Littlejohn, and grandsons, Kenneth Mallott and Trevor Hodges. Surviving family includes husband, Kenneth Hayward; daughter, Sheryl Cain and her husband, Bud; daughter-in-law, Renee Littlejohn; stepdaughter, Donna Lair and her husband, Vern, all of Wichita; stepdaughter, Alberta Chambers and her husband, Mike, of Kansas City, MO; 18 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 18, at Berean Baptist Church, 1230 N. Hoover Rd. in Wichita.
