Beverly A. Freeman, 88, a retired United States Postal Carrier and Clerk, died on Monday, September 2, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on June 22, 1936, in San Angelo, TX, Beverly called Wichita “home” for most of her life. Known for her unwavering love of Elvis Presley, Beverly took many road trips to Memphis, bringing her children and later her grandchildren to pay tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Her kindness extended into her church and community, where she was known for her caring nature and caring for others. Beverly is survived by her four children: Frank Freeman (Joanne), June Freeman, Vickie McGinty, and Pamela Freeman; her grandchildren: Jennifer Boguzski (Joseph), Melissa Wilbert (Jace), Kelly Babcock (DJ), Daniel Pla (Stacey), D’Angelo Freeman, Karissa Ireland (Ryan), Ursula Lora, Jonathan Gamero, and Ashley Oneth; many great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters who live out of state.
