Blalock, Bill 87, retired sales manager for Metal Fab, inventor and patent holder, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. Rosary, 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 16; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Thursday, August 17, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Angeline and Edgar Blalock. Survivors: wife, Mary; daughters, Ann (Todd) Shutts of Steger, IL, Jeannette (James) Hutchinson of Lousiville, KY, Elaine (Rick) Schmeidler of Wichita; sons, Mark (Sally) Blalock of Oak Forest, IL, Charles Blalock of Jacksonville, FL, Andy (Andrea) Blalock of Overland Park; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
