Bill C. Barnes Jr., 72, Avionics Technician, died Saturday, March 12, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Dorras Barnes. Survived by his wife, Linda Barnes; daughters, Shawna (Shawn) Lancelot, Jennifer (Mike) Foulk, all of Wichita; son, Ryan (Jill) Barnes of Goddard, KS; sisters, Karen Feltis, Beverly (Tom) Miller, Becki Bielski; grandchildren, Adam Lancelot, Garrett Lancelot, Madeleine Lancelot, Tayte (Sarah) Foulk, Taylor (Athan) Mastor, Jacob Foulk, Logan Foulk, Elizabeth Foulk, Darius (Taylor) Semisch, Dustin (Nicole) Semisch, Whitney Ford, Ella Ford, Torie Ford; 6 great-grandchildren.   2. Billy organized & invited me to accompany him on two trips to the Grand Canyon. We hiked from the rim to the river and back. The first trip he had reserved an overnight stay and we returned to the rim on the following day. The second trip we did the entire hike in one day (20 miles) and if my son, Brett Dean, had not stayed with me I would probably still be there, under a rock somewhere.

  3. I remember visiting Kansas and spending time on a road trip with the family. Also had a great time as a child at Pearl Lake shooting fireworks on the 4th. I miss and love you Bill and family.
