Bill Middleton
89, died Monday, January 25, 2016. Memorial Service will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, January 29, 2016, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Bill was a jazz musician, and band leader, playing tenor saxophone and clarinet. During World War II, he played with the Navy Jazz Band in San Diego. Later, he was with Henry Busse, Tommy Dorsey and Norman Lee. The great love of his life was his wife of 61 years, Virginia Margaret (King) Middleton. She preceded him in death in 2011. Bill was an avid bridge player and travel enthusiast. He is survived by his son, William Middleton of Houston, Texas, and numerous other relatives and friends.
