Billie Irene Baird, 87, cherished wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away June 3, 2022. Billie was born on September 10, 1934 in Arcadia, KS to Glenn and Jessie Tyler. The childhood memories of time shared with loved ones in Arcadia, especially her grandfather, lasted a lifetime. Billie married Wilbur Baird on May 31, 1953. Together they celebrated 69 years of marriage. Billie devoted her life to her family, completed by daughters Gayle and Gloria, and always a beloved family dog. Survived by her husband, Wilbur; daughters, Gayle (Mike) and Gloria, all of Wichita; sister, JoAnne Eberle; special nieces, Sharon Wagner and LuAnn Kenner, all of Arizona. Waiting at the gates of heaven to embrace Billie are her cherished grandparents, parents, and faithful furry companions. Guestbook

  1. Billie Baird will be remembered always as one of if not the most gracious person I have ever known. Not once in the many times I was graced to be with her did she fail to ask about my dogs first, both past and present, and also my wife. I always quietly appreciated how she was especially blessed herself to have such uncommon support and attention from her husband and two wonderful daughters. Billie, LilGirl and Zuzu will have a broad void to fill as we will all miss you.
