  1. Thinking of you always! You were a second Mom and Grandmother to us and even to Jimi and Joey. Always in our hearts. We love you and know Heaven got a little brighter with you there. Rest in peace.

  2. “Aunt Billie” was such a wonderful client and became a dear friend. She so loved coming into my salon to get her hair done and was ALWAYS so happy to be there! You will be so missed my dear friend. Love, Daisy

  3. To all of Billie’s family – we are so sorry for your loss. Billie was a terrific person! I first met Billie when I bought my first Condo in Houston. She was my next door neighbor! The day that I moved in, she came over w/a sub sandwich & coke and introduced herself. Who would have thought that a long time friendship would evolve! When Billie told me 20 yrs ago that she was thinking of moving to Austin, I tried to talk her out of it saying that she needed to stay in Houston because of all her good friends were in Houston. A couple of months later, my tune changed…my husband was being transferred to Austin & we would be moving. Now, I was telling her that she needed to move to Austin! I am so glad that she did move to Austin! Lonnie, (my husband), Billie & me, had lots of fun going out for dinner or having dinner together at our individual homes. We will miss her terribly – I am so glad that Lonnie got to talk w/Billie on the phone before she passed. Lonnie & Ann Sperling-Kennedy

  4. I have know Billie since we both worked in the special education department in Fort Bend ISD. I was drawn to her laughter that filled the room. That was always Billie, surrounded by endless joy. I knew I had to get to know this “wild” woman. She was one of a kind and I have lost a relationship like no other. We got into trouble together more often than I care to mention. Somethings just don’t need to be talked about. My heart is broken. I loved you girlfriend and you are irreplaceable.

  5. Billie was one of my oldest and dearest friends. She was the bridesmaid my wedding to James, back in 1986. Before that we were besties as two singles and did so many things. We also worked together for many years in Fort Bend ISD. She was such a dear friend to my parents and my brother. Part of our family when they would visit. I will forever treasure so many memories of times spent with her. And of course the laughter. When with Billie, there was always laughter and good times. She was a true treasure to so many and leaves a hole that cannot be filled. James and I will miss her greatly and our lives will be sadder without her in it. May she rest peacefully with Our Lord and Savior.

  6. To Billie’s family, What a special lady she was!! I will never forget the day that I was privileged to hire Billie as a Special Education Counselor. I was the director of Special Education for Fort Bend ISD and she was the obvious choice among many others. We loved her contributions to our staff and enjoyed every day with her. Her infectious laugh makes me smile as I think of her. She became a coordinator and all her teachers dearly loved her. My staff was like family and Billie was so dear to me, always happy to help, creative and loving as she shared ideas. My daughter, Amy told me that she has fond memories of her as Billie spent special time with her as well. Billie loved children! Billie made an impression wherever she went and will be missed. I thank God for her special life and that I had the honor of calling her a friend. She spoke of her family often and I know you are going to miss this bright star in your lives. May God give you peace and comfort as you remember this precious lady who is now with our Lord and Savior. Blessings and love to each of you! Sandy Louis (former director of Ft. Bend ISD Special Education)
