Brainerd, Byron, 91, retired attorney with Keegan, Brainerd, Bell, Weigand Depew law firm, died Saturday, December 30, 2006. Graveside service 1:00P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preceded in death by his first wife, Helen. Survivors: wife, LaMae; daughters, Lynne (Bob) Ruf, of Rockport, TX., Jerri Corgiat, of Overland Park, KS; brother, Wilbur, of Wichita; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Bar Foundation, 1200 S.W. Harrison Street, P.O. Box 1037, Topeka, Kansas, 66601.
