Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I work for the State of Kansas SRS, and had worked for Dwight Wamsley in 1992 thru 1994. He was my first full time boss at CSE. One time he was on vacation for two weeks and I got the bright idea of cleaning and organizing his office- Per Pamela Simon: ‘he was furious’ (ha!). I never tried to organize his office again, but use to bring him paintings for his office from the Wichita Library to cheer him up. He was wonderful, insightful and inspired me to desire to become an attorney. I was accepted at Massachusetts Scool of Law, Andover, Massachusetts, 1994, but unfortunately other events prevented me from going to law school. He loved his children, he loved sports and he loved being a lawyer from my observations. He will be remembered for a long, long time with good memories. Sincerely, Bonny Millard Sr. Administrative Asst for Nyles Davis, Staff Attorney for CSE/SRS It was so nice to see him still here when I returned to work for CSE.

  2. Dear Cody, I am thinking of you and your family at this difficult time in your life. My own father also passed away last week, on Sunday. (H. E. Jones) Who would have believed we would both share such experiences in the same week? I have thought of you over the years and wondered how you are getting along with your education and career. May you find peace as you go forward, Cody.

  3. John Donne Meditation XVII: No man is an island… ‘All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated…As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness….No man is an island, entire of itself…any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.’ love you, bonny millard of CSE
