Havey, C. Todd, 81, Boeing aeronautical engineer, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. Visitation with family, 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 25, Prairie Homestead Chapel, 1605 W. May. Memorial service, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 26, First United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by first wife, Helen Louise Chaffin, and his 11-year old daughter, Kathy Louise Havey. Survivors: wife, Mary Adams Havey; son, James Christensen (Christy McIntire) of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Barbara Gremling of Elida, OH; grandchildren, Kristopher, David, Emily and Michael Todd Gremling, Ryan, Alec, Sean and Morgan McIntire; niece, Dawn Burns of Glencoe, IL; cousin, Lew Hiigel (Kay) of Peoria, AZ. Memorials established with First United Methodist Church TV Ministry, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202 and Prairie Homestead Retirement Center, 1605 W. May St., Wichita, KS 67213. I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Todd, but from his family’s stories I know that he was a special man and much loved. I know that he will be greatly missed, but it is a comfort to know that he is at peace with our Lord in heaven.
Mary, I am so saddened to hear of Todd being called Home! Maybe Todd and Lloyd will have a fine time talking about old times! Aren’t we blessed to know our husbands will be waiting for us and we all will be with the Lord forever!! Love, Lola Mae Hershberger
