Chrisman, Calvin R., 86, retired welder and Army veteran, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008. Viewing will be at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 2:00 ~ 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, 9:00 A.M. ~ 9:00 P.M., Thursday and 9:00 A.M. ~ Noon, Friday. Funeral service 1:30 P.M., Friday, May 30, Epworth United Methodist Church. Calvin was born and raised in Sayre, OK. After serving in the Army, he moved to Wichita, where he married Faye Lucile Andrews. Calvins life evolved around his wife, Faye and daughter, Jennifer Diane. Although he led a quiet life, he was very dedicated to those he loved. He will be truly missed. Calvin was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle, and sister, Louise. Survivors include: wife, Faye; daughter, Jennifer Diane Ream; grandchildren, Eric, Jason and Sarah; and sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Quentin Moad. A memorial has been established with Epworth United Methodist Church, 856 S. Green, Wichita, KS, 67211. Viewing will be at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 2:00 ~ 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, 9:00 A.M. ~ 9:00 P.M., Thursday and 9:00 A.M. ~ Noon, Friday.

  1. I worked with Agie for several years here in the District Attorneys office as the Highway Patrol Liaison. I always enjoyed Agie, her positive attitude and her work ethic. Always cordial and friendly and such a lady, respectful and poised. I’m sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
