Candace Lynne McMaster Bohm, Candace went to our Lord in Heaven on Sunday evening, June 24, 2018. Candace was born on February 7, 1933 in Shelbina, Missouri, a small town located in the NE corner of the state. She was one of a pair of identical twin girls born to William Ellsworth McMaster and Helen (Browning) McMaster. Candace grew up on the farm enjoying music, playing with cats, watching birds, and playing the piano. Candace became an accomplished pianist and she was renowned for her musical talent throughout her life. Candace attended Shelbyville High School and went on to receive a degree in music from Kirksville Teachers College. While teaching in Montgomery City, she met August Bohm whom she married May 19, 1956. The couple moved to Kansas where they had four children. Candace taught music at Cloud County Community College for 28 years and served as the organist for the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, Kansas for over 40 years prior to moving to Wichita, Kansas. Candace was preceded in death by her husband, August; her twin sister, Trilby McMaster; and her parents, Ellsworth and Helen McMaster. She is survived by her children, Rhondalyn Mock (Bob) of Wichita, Kyle Bohm of Phoenix, Arizona, Chris Bohm (Sandy) of Wichita, and Melanie Bloom-McNulty (Dan) of Darien, Connecticut. Candace took great delight in her 11 grandchildren: Shannon, Courtney, Jordan, Gunnar, and Reagan Bohm; Christine, Nicole, and Ava Bloom; Alex and Gavin McNulty; Alicia (Luke) Sullivan; great-grandson, Patrick Sullivan. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Rosary at 6 pm, Wednesday, June 27, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Mass at 10 am, Thursday, June 28, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Memorials have been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
