Carlos E. Abshier 35, medical assistant with Zepick Cardiology, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. Visitation, 3 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m., both Monday, January 28, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Survived by husband, Jared Abshier; mother, Elsa (Brian) Wells; fur babies, Charlie, Joey, Chloe, Dino and Turtle; sister, Karyn (Stephen) Harrison; brother, Ronald Duenez; nephews, Angel Duenez and Christopher Harrison; grandmother, Angela Alarcon; father-in-law, Dennis Abshier; mother-in-law, Dorothy (Dennis) Fauver; sister-in-law, Kelley Abshier; numerous other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

  6. Carlos was such a great friend in JROTC in high school. He was always ready to make people smile and laugh, and his smile and energy were infectious. I still have the giant stuffed panda bear that he and Karyn brought me for my birthday one year! 🙂

It makes me sad that your life was shorten, your spirit was such a blessing. You were always saying and doing crazy stuff you always lit up the place. God bless !
