  1. Enjoyed looking at all the pictures. I have met Carmen at some of the family events. She was such a positive part of your family. I know she will be missed. Sorry for your loss. Becky Waller🤎

  2. I’ll miss more than words can describe. You will forever hold a special place in my heart that no one can replace. If I could be just half the woman you were I know I would have succeed in life. I love you so very much. Please give a hug to my dad for me

  3. I had the great pleasure to care for Carmen Powell at Fern’s place where Carmen resided in the last years of her life.
I loved getting to know this remarkable lady and her family, how amazing it is to build a friendship instead of considering it a place of work. Through Carmen’s stories she had taught me a lot, how great it was to see life through Carmen’s life & stories. I will always hold Carmen Powell close at heart & remember all the times she told me off through love. :).
I Thank Victoria & the family for trusting Ferns place with your loved one. I Think I can speak for everyone at Fern’s Place that it won’t be the same without Carmen, placing a Hot cup of coffee down with her love for the newspaper & a sweet Danish to go with it. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to love your Sister, Aunt, friend as much as you all did. I will miss you Carmen Powell, until we meet again my sweet friend. Cecilia Abasolo-Murray
