Smith, Carol F., 56, nurse assistant and home health nurse, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. The rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14 at All Saints Catholic Church. Preceded in death by father, Leroy J. Southard. Survivors: husband, Jerry Smith; daughter, Tiffany Wadley (Dax) of Wichita; sons, Michael Smith of Tucson, AZ and Nathan Smith of Wichita; grandchildren, Dax Jr. and Ava; mother, Frances V. Southard of Wichita; sisters, Glenda Oates (James) and Jewell Unrein (Michael), all of Wichita; brother, James L. Southard of Wichita; mother-in-law, Lila Smith and family of Wichita; aunts, Alice Eichelberger of Wichita, Josephine M. Wiesner of Concordia, KS and Helen M. Pfeifer of Ellis, KS; and a large extended family. Memorials have been established with All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand, Wichita, 67218 and Wesley Pediatrics, c/o Wesley Medical Center, 550 N. Hillside, Wichita, 67214.
The rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

We already miss our friend soooo much!!!!Carol was always the caregiver, the navigator, the advice giver, and the audience to our silly conversations that made her laugh and laugh.
