Carol Mae (Surtees) Sandlin

Sandlin, Carol Mae (Surtees), 70, retired Microbiology Supervisor for Wesley Medical Center, died Monday, October 6, 2014. Carol was a Girl Scout leader, a Big Sister, and a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church. Her memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Sandlin; parents, Lyle Elizabeth Surtees. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Sandlin (John Pounds) and Hilary Norris (John), both of Wichita; sisters, Eleanor (Ray) Hall of Valley Center, KS, Linda (Tom) Concert of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Garrett and Teagan Norris. Memorials have been established with ALS Mid-America Chapter, 3450 N. Rock Road, Bldg. 200, S-211, Wichita, KS 67226; and First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.
