Carole "Scotty" Diane Roberts

Carole “Scotty” Diane Roberts, 82, passed away on Dec 24, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas. She was a beloved wife of 58 years, mother of four to John Roberts, Julee Freese, Jennifer Dostal, and Joseph Roberts, grandmother to nine, great grandmother to six and foster parent to over 70 children. Carole was born October 22, 1941, in Long Beach, California. She married William Roberts on February 14, 1965. The family moved to Yucaipa, CA in the summer of 1979. Carole led the Yucaipa Senior Service Center from 1990 to 2000 serving up to 10,000 seniors. Carole was active in and served as President of the Yucaipa Soroptimist Club. After living 39 years in Yucaipa near their sons and grandchildren, Carole and William moved to Wichita, Kansas in 2018 to be closer to their daughters, Julee in Wichita and Jen in Minnesota. Carole will be reunited with her son Joe, her brother, Billy and her parents in Heaven. The funeral will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich, KS on January 3, 2024. Rosary will be at 10:30am followed by Mass and burial at 11:00am.
