Carolina “Missy” Palacio, 97, devoted daycare provider, passed away peacefully in her home while surrounded by all her loved ones, on Monday, March 1, 2021. Recitation of the Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Saturday, March 6, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Survivors: son, Arthur and wife Cindy of Tulsa, OK; daughters, Maria and her late husband Michael Aguilera of Goddard, Teresa and her husband Bob McBride of Clearwater, Roseann Palacio of Wichita; sister, Juanita Manriquez of Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Victor Palacio; her parents, Benjamin and Maria DeJesus Cordoba; 5 brothers; 1 sister and 1 great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, 3450 N. Rock Road, Bldg. 200, Suite 213, Wichita, KS 67226.

  1. So many memmories when I was a kid. I will always remember her, so loving, joyful and caring. I remember the Christmas tree with more presents I ever seen. God bless her, and may her soul rest in peace.

I would like to send my sympathy to my tia Carol family you are in my prayers she was a wonderful woman loving caring and beautiful loving person I remember when I was young my mom and dad would take my sister and me over their house every weekend and we would play with our cousins Eddie and Letti we had so much fun and when my uncle would say he was burt Reynolds and play a guitar and it was fun watching them be funny God bless your family you will be missed I love you virginia(Palacio)Soto
