Caroline Ritter Reitz

Caroline Ritter Reitz, 83, born in Cape Girardeau, MO, died March 5, 2018 in Wichita, KS. As a teenager, she attended Interlochen Center for the Arts and studied piano and vocal music. Caroline received her BS degree in business from Vanderbilt University. She and David Reitz celebrated 60 years of marriage last year. Caroline loved caring for her family, participating in PEO, and serving her church as a volunteer. She sang in the choir and played hand-bells many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, David. She is survived by her loving family: children, Dr. Eric Reitz (Elizabeth) and Dr. Sarah Willis (Scott); grandchildren, Cristina, Lindsey, Drew, Anna, Stephanie, JD, and Nathan; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Ritter (Ann), Carl Ritter (Sue), and sister, Margaret Ueleke (John). Memorial service will be Sat. March 10, 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway. Memorial gifts may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Presbyterian Childrens Homes and Services of Missouri. Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
