Carolyn Hervey Charles

Carolyn Hervey Charles, born May 28, 1952, devoted wife and loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, and career customer service advocate at Cessna and FlightSafety International, succumbed to cancer on June 19, 2014. A long-time member at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8021 West 21st St. N., Wichita, KS, her service will be held there at 2:00 pm Friday, June 27. A visitation concluding with Rosary will be from 6:30 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 26 at Downing Lahey West Mortuary, 10515 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS. Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Dr. James Sterling Hervey, DVM, and is survived by her husband of 32 years Steve, sons Ryan (Ginger), Evan (Kelly), and daughter Leah (Dustin), mother Clare Hervey, sisters Jane Barton (Dale), Nancy Shoemaker (Kim), and brother Rex Hervey (Suzanne).
