  1. Carolyn was one of my dearest friends. It is a blessing to live life together in its various seasons and faithful friends are rare and are to be greatly treasured. I am a better person for having known and loved Carolyn and I will miss her greatly. I hope to love, laugh and live with the passion and joy she gave to others. Her compassion and tenderheartedness was evident for all to see and experience, whether it was Wyatt, her students whom she tutored and loved, her family and friends or the teachers and staff whom she mentored and served through the years. Carolyn treated everyone with kindness and respect, no matter what age they were, social status or intellect. She always looked for and brought out the best in everyone. I love you my friend and look forward to seeing you again!

  2. Distressing to hear about Carolyns passing. Fondly remember our Summerfield HS days. Havent heard from her since 1959, but I remember her as one of the sweetest, kind persons
Ive known. I extend my condolences to family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace

  3. Carolyn was a joy to have around. I loved having her in my water arthritis class at the Y. She was sassy, funny and kind.
Im so sorry for the grief that those who loved her best must be experiencing to lose her while she was still vibrant and amazing. My heart hurts.

  4. Mrs. Kindrick was the reason I started working for USD 259. She was a joy to work with and a wonderful lady. My heart breaks at this loss. Thoughts and prayers for her family and close friends.

  5. Carolyn will be missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful person and a fun loving Summerfield graduate.

  6. Ms. K was a wonderful tutor for our son. We were so fortuntate to have the opportunity to meet her and have her be in our sons life. She will be missed!

  7. Carolyn was a wonderful lady to work for. She expected the best from us, but supported us whole-heartedly. I have found memories of her. My prayers for the family.

  8. I fondly remember our many family gatherings we had. She was so much fun. Loved her laugh. Condolences to Marvin and Betty and family

  9. I am saddened to hear of Carolyns death. Condolences to Marvin, relatives, and friends.
She was always cheerful and upbeat during our adolescent years at Summerfield. Carolyn had a genuinely wholesome and pleasant personality. I recall her always presenting an attractive smile to everyone she encountered.
I first knew her beginning with the five years when she was my Summerfield schoolmate, part of which she performed as a high school cheerleader along with being a volleyball player. Later we shared time while she lived in Parkville, just across the river from where I resided. I last spoke with her at a Summerfield school reunion just a few years ago, however the conversation was brief.
When processing the entire collection of legacy SHS graduation photos about four years ago, I noticed Carolyn bore a striking resemblance to a fine-looking Summerfield graduate of 1921, who I soon discovered was her mother.
Carolyn was a special person surely loved by everyone who knew her. Now she has gone to eternal rest.
May we meet again by Gods good grace at another time in another place.

  10. Carolyn was a wonderful, caring principal. She made staff and students alike feel loved and appreciated. I enjoyed working for her She will be missed. My prayers are with the family.

  11. Carolyn was the first Asst. Principal I ever worked for. She taught me so much about being an educator. She was an amazing person and I really appreciated her help and no nonsense personality. She will be greatly missed.
