Carolyn Ruth Mix

Carolyn Ruth Mix, 78, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 after a long battle with multiple myeloma. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, William Mix; her beloved parents, Jack and Doris Morrison of Oklahoma City; her cherished grandfather, William Coates Morrison; and adored grandmother, Ruth Bourdon Greer. Carrie Mix was a homemaker all of her adult life. She was born in Oklahoma City and moved to Wichita in 1965 where she spent the rest of her life. She loved reading, art, gardening, antiques, and Christmas, but her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her four adored children, Kent Mix of Wichita, Jane (married to Jeff) Zimmerman of Seattle, Katharine Mix of Wichita, and Joanna (married to Paul) Ramondetta of Wichita; and her two precious grandchildren, Graham (sweetheart, Shannon McDowell) of Bend, OR, and Greer Elizabeth (sweetheart, Daniel Metler) of Portland, OR; dear brother, Jack Morrison and wife, Peggy, of Beaver, OK. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Plymouth Congregational Church.
