77, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and avid car enthusiast, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Memorial Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 23, Downing & Lahey West. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lydia Allen. Survivors: wife, Beverly; children, David (Lori) Allen of Wichita, Chris (Monica) Allen of Goddard and Carmen (Tony) Peters of Wichita; brother, Glen Allen of Wichita; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Ill miss seeing and talking to him at the car shows.
Carrol and I first worked together in the printing industry when we were in our mid-20s. We knocked heads once in awhile, but I never knew a better craftsman in my 44 years as a printer. I was shocked to read of his death.
