Catherine E. Katy Carney

Catherine E. “Katy” Carney, 92, wife, mother and precious friend, passed away January 27, 2016. Katy was born March 2, 1923 to the late Daniel and Florence Farrell in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was also preceded in death by husband, Lawrence; daughter, Kathleen; son, Pete; son-in-law, Dennis Eck, and grandson, D.J. Eck. Survivors: sons, Larry (Kathie), Pat (Aldona), Jim (Marilyn), Charles (Donna), Matt (Conni), Tom (Mary); daughters, Chris Eck, Lucy Lavelle (Bob), Therese Stump (Bill); 1 sister; 41 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Rosary, 7 p.m., Friday, January 29; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Saturday, January 30, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial established with St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 S.
