Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Cecile for a few years. She was always helpful and if we needed to get something released in a hurry she would work it. It is not fare to leave her family and friends so soon. She was a class AAA person. So sorry for everyone’s loss.

  2. Cecile was one of the most special people to be privileged to know. She was a true friend, with me through thick and thin for over twenty years. She will be missed and remembered, as she continues to be the wind beneath many wings.

  3. Cecile will be missed as an fellow Boeing employee and OZ Bicycle Club organizer. She had the focus to make the Wicked Wind ride the best in Kansas. Her dedication to the club was a real asset to all who knew her. We will think of her when we see her tandem bicycle in El Dorado and remember her organizational skills and dedication to bicycle riders.

  4. sorry to hear about cecille, john, she will be missed . i wish i could be there to support, but i cannot. so i am sending you this note. may god bless you and your family , me and my family will pray for you.

  5. Cecile and her family were friends of mine in grade school and at church in Hutchinson. She was a big part of my happy childhood! We have old home movie pictures of us when Cecile and I both got new baby dolls! Garth and Lance, I will be thinking and praying for both of you!

  6. Shelly, My prayers and sympthaies are with you and your family. It is so hard to let someone go. I hope that you will forever enjoy the memories you had of Cecile. I remembered the time we dropped off the boys before our state bowling and they were so excited to be going to play with Cecile and your dad. Them little boys already know so much about losing grandparents that they loved. My heart goes out to all of you and I will keep you close in my prayers. Much love

  7. God bless you and thank you for the wonderful person that Cecile was to all of us at Boeing. What a great gal. My heart grieves for your loss. Gina Pogue

  8. I enjoyed working with Cecile on the Wichita River Festival Block Party committee. She was full of energy and one of the best volunteers I had the pleasure of spending time with.

  9. My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Cecile. I worked with Cecile many years ago when she chaired the MS Bike Tour, Autumn Trails Classic. She was a wonderful woman and became a great friend to me while we worked together. I picture her now riding her bicycle through the streets of heaven.

  10. Cecile and I shared many organizations, including the Oz Bicycle Club, Prairie Travelers, and the Wichita Bike/Walk Alliance. And I had the pleasure of her company on many a Thursday night Evening Breezer bicycle ride. I really enjoyed her company and found her easy to be with, and fun. She will be missed in all those organizations because Cecile pretty much never passed the buck to someone else, rather she did so many things. I am going to ride my bike to her memorial, and wear a Wicked Wind t-shirt because she was the Wicked Wind to me.

  11. The Wichita River Festival will NOT be the same without Cecile’s incredible energy and involvement- I am saddened to know she won’t be sitting across the table from me during Festival meetings-She will be greatly missed

  12. On behalf of the GOP Club of Sedgwick County we wish to pay or respects to such a wonderful lovely woman. Her passion, drive and caring nature was amazing, we will greatly miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Linda Meyer

  13. I have had the pleasure of working with Cecile at Boeing and she will be missed. I spoke with her at work several months ago and will keep that good memory.
