Werner, Celeste B., 93, retired Vice President of Misco Industries, died Friday, August 17, 2007. Rosary 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 21 and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 22, both at Church of the Magdalen. Celeste grew up in Gorham, KS. She was a past member of the Oil Secretaries Club and past president and member of the Executive Women International. Preceded in death by her husband, E. Glenn Werner, daughter, Marc Sells and sister, Faith Dumbler. Survivors: grandsons, Christopher P. Sells and Michael L. Sells, both of Wichita and David F. Sells of Kansas City, MO; sister, Vivian Gangler of Roseville, CA; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild. Memorials to: Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 1148 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I worked with Celeste for 5 years. I was corporate counsel for Misco and had occasion to work closely with her. I have never known a finer or more gracious lady. She was always there to help, if needed.I know she is in heaven, hopefully visiting with my wife Arlene. She always graced our table at Thanksgiving. I loved her very much.
