Dear Robert, Richard and families
For me Cesar has always been “THE GURU” in aviation gasoline and inspirer to learn more. Cesars work with ethanol-ether in aviation gasoline was decades ahead of all other fuel specialists and companies attemps to create a future high octane biobased unleaded aviation gasoline. His dedicated work has given results and currently the only high octane unleaded aviation gasoline on active test with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is an ethanol-ether based fuel.
Thank you Cesar for being my partner in heading the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) task-force for a world wide standard of ethanol-ether in aviation gasoline – a journey that took us both 10 years to accomplish.
The enclosed picture with Cesar and myself is from Poland year 2006 and a visit to the radial aircraft engine producer Kalisz for engine tests with aviation gasoline containing bio ethanol ether.
